Commissioner’s response to Welsh Government’s calls to ban vaping

Vaping is currently one of the top issues raised with me by children and young people. Children and young people of all ages, including primary-aged children, are worried because of the health impact, the environmental impact, and vaping’s huge popularity and the peer pressure to vape. I would fully support a ban on disposable single-use vapes, and look forward to hearing about how children and young people themselves can shape further solutions to this issue.
