Commenting to Cyngor Gwynedd’s Response Plan, Rocio Cifuentes MBE said:
“I welcome this positive step from Cyngor Gwynedd. The response plan is transparent and victim centred. The critical next step will be to robustly monitor its implementation.
“With the council’s response plan now published, we need to see the same transparency from the regional safeguarding board. With various investigations now happening it feels more important than ever that the terms of reference of the Child Practice Review, conducted by an independent panel on behalf of the safeguarding board, are published in full. Whilst acknowledging these terms are under regular review, having an insight into the current focus areas of the review will provide everyone with full transparency. I’ve written again to the board urging them to do this without delay.”
